  • During the Presidency of Hazrat Maulana Qazi Mujahidul Islam Qasmi (Rahamatullah Aley) one convention of the Board was organised at Bangalore.

  • During the Presidency of Hazrat Maulana Qazi Mujahidul Islam Qasmi (Rahamatullah Aley) Majmua-e-Qawaneen and its English version was published.

    During the Presidency of Hazrat Maulana Qazi Mujahidul Islam Qasmi (Rahamatullah Aley) a new flat was purchased for expansion of the Central office of the Board.

  • During the Presidency of Hazrat Maulana Qazi Mujahidul Islam (Rahamatullah Aley) 6 meetings of Executive Committee were held.

Faqih-e-Millat Hazrat Maulana Qazi Mujahidul Islam Qasmi (Rahamatullah Aley) had a dynamic personality. He had deep knowledge of Islam, modern disciplines, customs and traditions. He had a profound understanding of the situation obtaining in the country and society. He was considered a great Faqih, expert of Qaza affairs. He had tremendous political insight, extraordinary intelligence and a bright mind. He achieved a prominent place in the fields of Fiqh and Qaza by sheer perseverance and hard work. He contribution as Qazi of Imarat-e-Shariah has been acclaimed not only in the Indian sub-continent but throughout the world.

He was a successful guide and leader. He ably led the Muslim community in some very critical times. He always advocated unity of the Ummah. He was convinced that the basic reason of the problems confronting the community lied in the disunity; therefore, unity of the community was the answer to such problems. He adopted forging the unity in the community as his mission and tried his best to iron out the differences, to bring the Muslim community on a single platform, and to generate political awareness. He achieved considerable success in this endeavour and the community accepted him as its leader. He worked as the President of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Deputy Ameer and Chief Qazi of the Imarat-e-Shariah Bihar-Orissa and Jharkhand, Secretary General of the All India Milli Council, and Secretary General of the Islamic Fiqh Academy (India) at the same time. Besides, he was also associated as member and patron of many national and international organisations abroad. His death on April 4, 2020 abruptly ended his mission of service.
